Easy Immune Boosting Sauce
Can’t kick that nasty cold or flu? Here is a simple sauce that you can make to toss with your favorite vegetable pasta!!
Garlic and Onion both contain anti-biotic, anti-bacterial and anti- inflammatory properties!
1/2 large cooking onion, rough chopped
6-8 whole peeled garlic cloves
1/4 cup olive oil (more if needed)
1 Tbsp balsamic vinegar (more if needed to taste)
Salt and pepper to taste
- Prepare all ingredients. Remove onion and garlic skins.
- Place all ingredients into a food processor and process until completely smooth, scraping down the sides as needed. Add more olive oil if needed.
- Stir into to your favorite vegetable pasta recipe! Be sure to add the sauce last and use low heat to ensure you are getting the medicinal properties.
- Taste and season accordingly
