You know what’s great? Gelato. You know what else is great? Lattes. You know what takes both to another level? Ferrero Rocher.

We love making any flavour of gelato we want, because working from scratch allows us to be creative with our gelato and latte making. So we came up with both Ferrero Rocher Gelato and Lattes — which both locations will be serving from now until February 14th (before which the Mini Egg craze at Humani-T officially begins).
Here’s how we went about making our Ferrero Rocher Gelato: We made our own Bacio (an Italian flavour which is essentially a kiss between hazelnut and chocolate) paste by toasting fresh hazelnuts and adding organic Dutch cocoa and sugar), then as the gelato came out of the batch freezer, we layered it with crushed toasted hazelnuts, milk chocolate chips, dark chocolate chunks, and crushed Ferreros. Our Ferrero Rocher Lattes are built as follows:
- A shot (or two) of Espresso 1749 (our signature organic fair-trade espresso blend)
- Dark Chocolate syrup made in-house with organic Dutch cocoa
- Hazelnut flavour shot
- Steamed milk of choice (dairy, soy, or almond)
- Whipped cream
- Crushed Ferrero
