Unveiling the Health Advantages of Digestive Enzyme Supplements

In the pursuit of ultimate well-being, digestive health emerges as a paramount concern. Amid this quest, the surge in interest surrounding digestive enzyme supplements has captured the spotlight. These supplements, infused with enzymes that facilitate food breakdown, nutrient absorption, and digestion, are generating enthusiasm for their potential health benefits. While individual requisites may differ, embracing these supplements into one’s regimen is linked to a spectrum of potential advantages.

Elevated Nutrient Assimilation: Digestive enzymes like amylase, protease, and lipase are adept at dismantling carbohydrates, proteins, and fats, empowering the body to efficiently absorb vital nutrients. This heightened absorption could translate to enriched energy levels and comprehensive vibrancy.

Alleviation of Digestive Discomfort: Individuals grappling with bloating, gas, or indigestion could discover respite through digestive enzyme supplements. These enzymes hold the potential to ease the digestive load, fostering smoother digestion and mitigating discomfort.

Aid for Specialized Diets: Navigating diets tailored to specific needs—be it gluten-free, dairy-free, or high-protein—could be made easier with digestive enzyme supplements. These enzymes can expedite the digestion of foods that might otherwise pose challenges.

Mitigating Enzyme Decline: As age advances, the body’s innate enzyme production wanes, possibly triggering digestive predicaments. Integrating digestive enzyme supplements can serve as a compensatory mechanism, ensuring effective digestion.

Augmented Nutritional Yield: By expediting the breakdown of intricate nutrients, digestive enzymes can augment the overall nutritional yield derived from consumed foods. This facet gains prominence for those grappling with nutrient deficiencies or individuals striving to optimize their nutritional intake.

As the popularity of digestive enzyme supplements burgeons, it’s imperative to seek counsel from a healthcare professional before ushering them into your regimen, especially if preexisting medical conditions exist or concurrent medications are taken. A personalized approach is the cornerstone for determining the fitting enzyme type and dosage, tailored to your specific requisites.

In summation, the allure of digestive enzyme supplements in augmenting digestion, nutrient absorption, and holistic well-being is on the rise. While further research is warranted to unravel their enduring impact, these supplements hold potential as a pivotal component for nurturing digestive health in tandem with a balanced diet and a wholesome lifestyle.

Get an extra boost of caffeine in your coffee

I love coffee and tea equally! Some mornings I wake up with a strong urge for either coffee or tea. But there are times when it’s just not that obvious a choice.  So how do I choose the right option?

Is coffee the obvious choice for the morning, and tea for the rest of the day? What about a sleepy afternoon with boring meetings? What’s the latest time I could drink coffee suffering insomnia?

Tea does have caffeine but not quite as much as coffee has. Good quality tea also has a calming agent called L-Theanine that makes it a bit safer as an afternoon or evening drink. But these are discussions for another day, here I want to share how to get the best of both elixirs and make it taste good too!  A drink I would only recommend when the need for a caffeine boost trumps all else.

This is the ultimate coffee-meets-tea recipe, containing both tea and coffee for a double energy boost. What you need is a syrup made of black tea, steamed milk, finely ground black coffee and lots of fluffy foam.

Monday coffee idea for tea lovers

DIY Black Tea Syrup

Chose the black tea you enjoy the most. Use two teaspoons of loose leaf black tea, steep it for five minutes in 130 ml (1/2 cup) of boiling water. Strain the tea into a small pan and add four big spoons of honey. Simmer on low and stir until dissolved. Take off the heat and let it cool down abit. You can store unused portion in a fridge for later use.

Black coffee – Stovetop Saucepan Method

Prepare black coffee but don’t add any sugar into it. The tea syrup is sweet enough already. Finely grind your coffee beans. Use 100-200 ml of water, bring it to a boil and remove from heat. Then, add one-to-three heaping teaspoons of ground coffee, place the pot over the heat again, then remove it when the coffee starts boiling. Repeat the procedure three times, until all the coffee foam is gone. Let it settle down a bit.

Monday coffee idea for tea lovers

Steamed milk

Use a hand shaker (like a protein or cocktail shaker), add 150 ml of milk and shake well. Then pour it into a big cup and microwave for about 45 seconds.

Pour about 1 tablespoon tea syrup into the cup. Pour milk (note: ideally you will use equal amounts of milk and coffee, but feel free to adjust the proportions to taste) leaving room for the coffee. Pour the same amount of black coffee and add a bit of foam on the top. Depending on the tea type you used, sprinkle with cocoa or cinnamon.

Hate milk? Lactose intolerant??

No problem. Simply replace dairy milk with an alternative of your choice or omit milk altogether and enjoy it straight up.

Let me know what you think.

The best brewing methods for too-lazy-to-brew and other moods

There is a time in every tea lover’s life, when no matter how much they like tea, they just feel too lazy to spend time on proper brewing and want that cup of tea right now. Sure, there are teabag options out there, thousands and thousands of them, but if you have strongly decided to use only loose leaf, that option is out of the question. So what can you do to satisfy your craving when you’re in a rush or just in a too-lazy-to-brew mood?

Here are the best options for black, green and oolong teas.

Sun Brewing

Sun brewing is perfect for black teas and hot sunny days. All you need is a glass teapot and loose tea of your choice. Darjeeling, and premium Ceylon black tea will give amazingly delicious results. Put around one big spoon* of leaves into a glass teapot or a jar, add one liter of water and let is brew in sun for 3-4 hours. Temperature above 30 degrees are not only good for tanning, but for getting just the right amount of tannins out of the leaves. You can drink it warm or add ice.  *Remember, large whole leaf tea leaves take up more space than broken tea leaves. So you will need more spoonfuls of large whole leaf tea than you would broken leaf tea.

Sun brewing

Fridge Brewing

Fridge brewing is another great way to prepare tea in summer. Fridge brewing is similar to sun brewing, but instead of placing your teapot outside, you place it in the fridge for 4-5 hours. You can leave it overnight if you wish and drink fresh cold tea for your morning workout. Best choices for fridge brewing are green teas – both unflavored and flavored, preferably the ones like Kyoto Cherry or Sencha or organic Ceylon green tea. Use fresh spring water or tap water if it’s safe and good to drink.

Cup Brewing

Cup brewing is the easiest way to brew tea with hot water for all those who like semiball-rolled style oolong teas. Place 3-4 grams of leaves into your favorite cup (200-400 ml), add hot water (around 85-95 degrees would be perfect). You don’t need to strain the leaves, they will unfurl slowly and stay in the cup. Add more hot water for a second brew. Oolong teas are an excellent choice for this type of brewing and just-want-to-relax-with-a-cup-of-hot-tea mood.

Glass Brewing

Very similar to cup brewing, except it is used for mostly green Chinese teas. Why? Because you can easily enjoy the beauty of unfurling leaves. Most well-loved choices are jasmine teas and pan-fired light green teas. Warm the glass first, add freshly boiled water and then add 1-3 grams of leaves. Be careful about the temperature, 80 degrees top. Just pour more water over the same leaves if you want another cup. This is the perfect way of brewing when you are in a too-tired-to-brew mood and want an instant energy from green tea.

Glass brewing

Pretty Brewing

Pretty brewing is our name for brewing flowering tea. Flowering teas are meant to be brewed in a glass cup as they unfurl to form beautiful shapes made of leaves and flowers. These artisan teas were hand-crafted with special attention placed on every single leaf. Use one flower ball on 150-200 ml of water, 90 degrees Celsius and let it steep for at least 3-5 minutes. Perfect for feeling-low-and-need-beauty-in-life mood.

Make the most out of sencha leaves

Sencha is one of those teas that you just have to have in your tea cupboard so why not make the most out of sencha leaves? Sencha is the most popular Japanese tea in the world. Around 70% of all green teas produced in Japan are sencha types, which makes it even more popular than matcha. While matcha is considered ceremonial and culinary tea, sencha is an essential part of every day life in Japan. There are special tea ceremonies that include sencha and you can buy it already prepared in supermarkets or vending machines. Sencha is very easy to brew, saves your teeth from decaying, has just the right amount of caffeine, has a positive influence on immune system and much more catechin in loose leaf form than matcha. Besides, sencha can be used in many different ways. Even after you think your tea leaves are all used up, you can still recycle them in numerous ways. Read our guide and try it yourself.

Drink it first

Sencha is very easy to brew is you follow some basic recommendations. Always use freshly boiled water and let it cool down to 73-75 degrees Celsius. Put 1 gram of leaves on every 50-100 ml of water. Steep for a minute. Next steeping should last only for a few seconds, and third one can be longer. Sencha has a delicate fresh and lightly astringent flavor followed by sweet aftertaste. Drink it hot.

Make the Most Out of Sencha Leaves

Use the last brew to soak your oats or rice

If you are an oats lover, you can soak your oats overnight in sencha tea. Prepare it the same way as you would for drinking. If you are using left-over leaves, you can use higer temperature. The famous Japanese dish ochazuke is made with sencha leaves. Sencha tea is poured over cooked rice with (usually) salmon on top and few traditional toppings.

Make eye patches

Use paper tea filters and fill them with left-over sencha tea leaves. You don’t need to use a lot, 2-3 grams per tea will be an adequate amount. Make sure they are still warm but not hot, just pleasantly warm on the skin. Lie down, close your eyes and place them on dark circles under your eyes for 15 minutes.

Use tea sachets for bathing

Try collecting used dried sencha leaves in a tin can. When your sencha pouch is empty and you made your last cup, you can reward yourself with one more enjoyment – sencha bath. Fill a few tea paper filters with sencha leaves and close them with a stapler to make sure none of the leaves will find their way out. Fill the bathtub with hot water and add 10 home-made sencha tea sachets. Used tea leaves will still have enough scent and benefits to make your skin feel great. You can use new tea leaves as well, but you might want to reduce the number of sachets.

Make the Most Out of Sencha Leaves

Feed plants with left-over leaves

And finally, if you tried all our suggestions and still have some left-over used tea leaves, you can give your house plants a nice surprise. You can use them as a fertilizer. If you forgot about your brewed cup of sencha for a couple of hours, you don’t need to pour it out the drain. Instead, water your plants with it. Always be sure that you are not using hot water for watering (teaing) plants. In no time they will reward you with beautiful healthy appearance.

Why moths don’t like lavender

Have you ever asked yourself why moths don’t like lavender? The answer to this question is very simple – because they would fall asleep easily and would not be able to eat expensive coats and shirts anymore. This is exactly why you will absolutely love it. While lavender is mostly used as a moth distracting weapon, it deserves to be a part of life of any herbal and natural lifestyle lover. Lavender is such a pleasure to drink that you will want to fall asleep only to drink it more the next day. Not only it tastes wonderful, it has soothing and relaxing properties that will be more than beneficial after a long day. There are numerous ways to use dried lavender flowers and to fully enjoy all it can offer.

Why moths don't like lavender

Use it in desserts

You can add dried lavender flowers to many different cookies and pastries. Although lavender still has a long way to go until fully respected as a culinary treat, you can start right now. Lavender can be added to cakes, creams, puddings, and all sorts of sweet desserts. We recommend making regular tea cookies and serving them with a cup of lavender tea after a stressful day.

Why moths don't like lavender

Make your own blend

You can easily make your own blend of lavender tea and enjoy benefits and flavors of two teas at the same time. Last week we introduced the king of teas – pu’erh. Add a new dimension to Berry Berry Pu’erh with Nova Scotia Berries by mixing in few lavender flowers before brewing. Stronger and darker loose leaf black teas are a perfect choice for blending with lavender. Earl Grey is another tea that tastes amazing with few lavender flowers. Do not add an excessive amounts of lavender, just a few flowers will be enough.

Drink it as tea

Lavender tea is a great choice before. With no caffeine and with soothing and relaxing properties this tea can easily become your addiction. Use freshly boiled water and steep for 5 minutes if you want to enjoy the taste and 10 minutes is you want to maximize the health benefits. 1 teaspoon of dried lavender flowers is enough for 200 ml of water. You can add sugar, honey and even milk. Don’t let the tea cool down as the flavor will change significantly.

Why moths don't like lavender

Make your own relaxation sachets

You can use lavender to make relaxation sachets. Place them under the pillow or make a lavender bath. Lavender is a great remedy for relieving headache and helping you fall asleep. You can use tea paper filters or light cloth sachets and fill them with dried flowers.
Make your own natural hair rinse
Lavender hair rinse is great for hair, smells heavenly and is really easy to make at home. All you need is 1 liter of freshly boiled water, 3 spoons of dried lavender, 3 spoons of apple vinegar and few drops of lavender essential oil. Pour freshly boiled water over lavender flowers and let it cool down for a couple of hours. Add vinegar and essential oil. Use it to rinse hair after shampooing.

The tea king of health

A few years ago the most powerful of all dark teas embarked on a journey to western hearts. This tea king of health already has a long tradition of undertaking long and exquisite journeys. It managed  to be much appreciated and loved by many for countless reasons. From its character to health benefits, this tea is the most unique of all Chinese teas.

With distinct flavor, rich history, and unbeatable health benefits, Pu’erh deserves a throne in the tea kingdom. While every single tea has a special purpose, pu’erh benefits could be seen immediately after drinking. We know that you keep reading about all those tea benefits almost on a daily basis, but the truth is, tea really is good for you. While there still might be a need for extensive research on different tea types and their benefits, if you start incorporating tea into your daily life, you will be surprised by the outcome.

The Tea King of Health

What is Pu’erh

Pu’erh is a special tea type from Chinese province Yunnan. It belongs to a category of dark fermented teas. Pu’erh can be found in both loose leaf form and compressed into different shapes – from bricks to cakes. Pu’erh is made from sun-dried leaves, piled on the ground and left to ferment with the help of special bacteria. Pu’erh can be raw or ripe, with the first one being very astringent if prepared inappropriately. Ripe pu’erh, on the other hand is mellow and perfect for all tea beginners. Both have many benefits, but need to be drunk differently.

A key to healthy weight loss

While you may have heard about tea being able to melt fat, the truth is somewhere in between. You still need to take care of your diet, exercise often and drink tea on a daily basis. Pu’erh is completely different when it comes to seeing and feeling its benefits. The key feature of pu’erh is the ability to speed up metabolism and lower bad cholesterol. If your stomach hurts after eating too much, pu’erh will prove more than valuable. Drinking a cup of ripe pu’erh after a heavy meal could remove that heavy feeling in your stomach right away. Never add additional sugar, honey or any other sweetener into pu’erh. Pu’erh should be drank without milk. If you want to see the effects on your body, replace all sugared drinks with pure tea. Raw pu’erh can cause a feeling similar to drunkenness or stomach pain if drank in excessive amounts, therefore we recommend starting with ripe type.

Pu'er tea

Recommended usage

Pu’erh is the type of tea that is extremely easy to brew, almost impossible to ruin and that can be re-steeped numerous times – much more than green or black tea. Always use freshly boiled water, 3-5 grams of tea leaves and 150-200 ml of water. You can brew it for several minutes or follow the traditional style of multiple brewing starting from 20 seconds. Increase time by 15-20 seconds for each additional cup. Drink it while hot, and preferably after the meal.

Flavor and tea

More important than just counting the benefits, is to truly enjoy your tea. Pu’erh taste might be difficult to handle for most tea beginners. Berry Berry Pu’erh is a delicious pu’erh and berry blend with Nova Scotia berries for a perfectly balanced flavor that will be loved by both fruit tea and pu’erh tea lovers. While most Chinese teas are usually drunk unblended, pu’erh is commonly an exception. It can be mixed with all sorts of different flowers and flavors to create unique combinations. Pu’erh is not bitter, but it does have a peculiar brick-like earthy rich flavor that might require some time for you to adjust.

If you still didn’t have a chance to taste ripe pu’erh, give it a try. It could become your new favorite after-meal tea.

The ultimate spring renewal with tea

With spring knocking at the door, it’s time for the ultimate spring renewal with tea. Start cleaning your body – from the inside and outside. Tea has been around for thousands of years. First considered a medicine, then food, later as the drink of social importance that cherishes simplicity and beauty of life, tea is the most important beverage in the world. While Eastern countries know the importance and benefits of loose leaf teas, western people are still at the beginning of this amazing journey. Fast forward your journey with simple ways to include tea in your everyday life and start your spring renewal with green tea today.

Our tea journey guide will show you how to feel great both physically and mentally, by incorporating tea into your daily rituals.

Ultimate Spring Renewal with Tea
Tea and health from the inside

Green tea is great for health, but some green teas are better than the others. Not all green teas have the same amount of EGCG, the most important antioxidant that makes green tea so healthy and desirable. EGCG is contained in tea leaf and is released at high temperatures. This is why matcha is considered healthier than many other green teas – it has at least double the amount of ECGC in a brewed cup than other green teas – because you are consuming the whole leaf. Next choice would be sencha. If you are into macrobiotics, kukicha is the best tea for spring renewal. With almost zero caffeine and the ability to alkalize the body, kukicha is the perfect choice for any time of the day.

Tea and beauty from the outside

Ultimate Spring Renewal with Tea
Powdered green tea like matcha is perfect for making facial masks. It will help reduce dullness and dark circles under the eyes, clear your complexion and bright up the skin. Home-made matcha mask is a perfect natural skin care before the first intense rays of sun hit your face.  Bath sachets made of sencha green tea are so easy to make that you will want to soak in tea all the time. What matcha will do in a facial mask, sencha in the bath will do for your whole body. Green tea has antibacterial properties, invigorates the skin and makes you more relaxed. And it smells heavenly fresh and green.

Tea and inner peace

After the complete skin care routine, you will already feel very relaxed. Now that you have taken care of your health, you are in a perfect state of mind to completely enjoy a cup of tea. Jasmine Dragon is an excellent choice. Delicate jasmine scent mixed with tea leaves to create a perfect visual and tasting experience will help you relax even more. Even in the old China people needed to be in a calm, peaceful, simple state of mind to be able to enjoy tea completely. Create a habit of having your own evening tea ritual. Try to keep it for at least a month. Make tea drinking experience all about peacefulness, serenity, enjoyment and relaxation. Dedicate time to yourself and your tea.

Tea and social gatherings

When tea is enjoyed by one person it can bring serenity and wisdom, but when it is shared by two or three people, it brings enjoyment and bonding. Even the notes in historical writings said that more than three is too much. Invite a friend or two and throw them an inspiring tea party. Kyoto Cherry would be a perfect choice for an early spring outside tea party under the cherry tree. Your own little hanami (cherry blossom watching) can include home-made pastries and drinking tea from delicate tea ware. Is there a better way to welcome spring?

Try all these steps for the ultimate spring renewal with tea and tell us how you feel. Before you know it, you will become addicted to a healthier and greener way of life, and welcome spring with newly found joy.

7 Day Apple Cider Vinegar Challenge

Improve Your Health In Seven Days!!

ACV

Introduction
As a Holistic Nutritionist, digestion is one of the main issues that I help people with on the daily basis. One of the most affordable tonics to get your digestion back on track is Apple Cider Vinegar which is enzyme rich and nutritious.   I put myself to the challenge of drinking it for 7 days in a row and I must say the results were amazing!
Dose
2 Teaspoons of raw organic Apple Cider Vinegar (I used Bragg’s brand which is available in store at Super Natural Health Products)  diluted in 1 cup of warm water 3 times a day.  Drink mixture half an hour before every major meal (breakfast, lunch, dinner). Do not consume any other liquids after you drink this mixture until half an hour after you eat (no liquids before, during or half an hour after your meal to allow your body to digest properly)

Why Try This Challenge

Improve digestion and bowel movements, improve skin, cleanse liver, loss weight.

Results and Findings

Day 1: Down the hatch it goes!! In this first day I noticed my skin had broken out, which is a normal side effect. This happens because the vinegar is detoxifying your body. I also noticed that my digestion felt easier and I had three bowl movements this day, meaning that my body was already starting to reap the benefits from the vinegar’s detox.

Day 2: I noticed that my skin was still slightly broken out, but not as bad as day one.  A new finding was that I  felt more satisfied with my meals. I was not finishing a whole plate of food as my body was telling me it was full.  Once again I noticed improved digestion and bowel movements.

Day 3: Skin was healed, beautiful and glowing!! This day I noticed my stomach feels very flat and relaxed. Once again easily satisfied with meals, improved digestion and  bowel movements.

Day 4, 5 & 6: Beautiful skin, flat belly,  sensing fullness easier, improved digestion and bowel movements.

Day 7: I stepped on the scale and realized that the 5 pounds I normally fluctuate has disappeared.  Once again beautiful skin, flat belly,  sensing fullness easier, improved digestion and bowel movements.

Conclusion

I feel beautiful, happy and fulfilled! My body responded extremely well to this simple cleanse.  I am going to include Apple Cider Vinegar in my daily routine for maintenance (only one dose in the morning, or up to 3 times a day if needed if I am having digestion issues {bloating, gas, etc})

This challenge was simple, cost effective and successful. I recommend this to anyone and everyone to try!

Best of luck with your Apple Cider Vinegar Challenge!

How to use Chia Seeds

Chia fills you up, nourishes you and cleans you out. It should be a part of any healthy regimen.

Did you know that 3 ounces of Salva Chia contains:

  • As much Omega 3 as 28 ounces of Atlantic salmon
  • More calcium than 3 cups of whole milk
  • Higher and more bioavailable protein content than soy
  • More fiber than 1 1/4cups of All-Bran cereal
  • The iron equivalent of 3 cups of raw spinach
  • The Potassium content of 1 1/2 bananas
  • As much Vitamin C as seven oranges
  • Antioxidant capacity three times the strength of blueberries

Take 20 grams of chia seeds twice daily. Dr. Oz says Chia lowers your blood pressure and the risk of heart disease. No need to grind it before eating; sprinkle onto your salads or cereal. Make certain when you eat dry chia seeds that you drink lots of water. To lower blood sugar spikes, take 30 grams of chia seeds with bread an hour after eating.
Or prepare it first by soaking in pure water. To avoid clumping, add seeds to water while stirring. Use 10 parts water to one part seed. In under 10 minutes, you will notice the chia seeds have changed into a gel, absorbing most of the water. Let it sit 30 minutes before using. Store chia gel in the refrigerator for up to two weeks.
Use chia gel as a fat replacer or an egg replacer in your recipes. Add chia gel to your salad dressings, butter, sauces or jams and peanut butter to cut the fat and sugar in half without changing the flavor and texture noticeably. Chia adds to the texture and flavor of foods rather than dilute and soak up the flavor.
To help with weight loss, make chia seed gel and add it to juice or water for a full feeling without hunger for several hours.
Also consider adding chia seed gel to milkshakes, puddings, dips and hot cereal, mixing it with yogurt, and even scrambling the gel with eggs. Use dry chia seeds in your bread, muffin and pancake mixes.
Remember that it absorbs water, so allow for it.

Toxic kitchen cleaning products you should avoid

Did you know only 10 per cent of the 75000 ingredients in common cleaners are properly tested for their health and environmental effects?  Most cleaners leave residues of these toxic chemicals on countertops and dishes, exposing us and our children to countless potential health issues.

This spring cleaning season, please read the labels of cleaning products to avoid the most common and harmful toxic chemicals present in kitchen cleaning products such as all-purpose cleaners, dishwashing soap and oven cleaners, to name few.

All-purpose cleaners contain MEA, DEA and TEA, chemicals which may form carcinogenic nitrosamines. They are also filled with fragrance chemicals that easily irritate human tissue and can cause migraines. All-purpose cleaners also contain Coal tar dyes and petrochemical derivatives which are contaminated with heavy metals thought to be implicated in cancers. Amonia is another highly toxic chemical present in all-purpose cleaners. This chemical produces highly irritant vapours that damage the skin, eyes, throats and lungs. Nonulphenol ethoxylates are also commonly present in these products. These compounds affect the endocrine system by mimicking estrogen and it is linked to reproductive problems.

Another chemical-heavy cleaning product is dishwashing soap. This product contains high levels of phosphates which damage aquatic ecosystems by promoting algal blooms which kill aquatic life. They are also full of Coal tar dyes and petrochemical derivatives which, as explained above, should be avoided.  Triclosan is another culprit commonly found in dishwashing soap; this chemical is a hormone disrupter and can also irritate the eyes and skin.

Though it is always pleasant to cook delicious meals in a clean oven, oven cleaners are also packed with highly toxic chemicals such as 2-Butoxyethanol, which is linked to blood disorders and reproductive problems. Also Sodium hydroxide, a highly corrosive compound which can burn eyes, skin and lungs is a common ingredient in oven cleaners.

The best way to avoid contact with these highly toxic chemicals is to carefully read labels and opt for greener alternatives. CHFA has some excellent do it yourself recipes for natural cleaners that are just as effective as the expensive and potentially toxic products commonly found. To download these recipes click here.

Chronic Pain Goes Away with Matcha

If you suffer from pain or know someone who does, then you should read on.

Dear Nemat:
I am always suspicious of supplements due to the fact they are not regulated. I always wonder if I`m truly getting what is proclaimed by the manufacturer.
I discovered your products through a friend of mine. He swears by your Matcha tea and claims to be in such great shape due to it`s benefits. Following in his footsteps, I purchased the Matcha tea and I too noticed a huge i
mprovement in my being.

It is important to note that I have not worked out regularly for over 10 years due to serious back and neck injuries suffered in a car accident . I have never smoked, I rarely consume alcohol however, I do smoke the odd joint. Even though I am not overweight and watch what I eat, I am not in the best shape as I was before my accident.
After about three days of taking Matcha daily in the morning, I noticed that for the first time in eight years I had NO MORE daily joint and bone pain. I am finally getting back on track and excited to begin an exercise routine and start running again. Now that`s progress!!
I`ve tried all sorts of other prescription remedies that did absolutely nothing to ease my pain and keep it away, which is why I thought I had to live with the pain every day (my alternative was back surgery). Since I started to take Matcha for overall wellness, it was a totally unexpected surprise to realize that Matcha was responsible for taking my joint and bone pain away.

For those non-believers…there were no other changes to my daily regimen. The pain returned about a week after I ran out of the tea and then went away again after I started taking it regularly again.
Things just keep getting better…
I then ordered the Iso-Pro Whey, the Spirulina, and the Omega Complete. I`ve been taking these supplements daily for the past three weeks (as per the suggested smoothie recipe). I have NOT begun to exercise (hey, after ten years of living with pain – one gets a little apprehensive to jump into a dramatic lifestyle change overnight) but yet I have noticed a huge improvement in the way my body feels and looks already – I am leaner, my skin has improved dramatically, and I have more energy throughout the day. People look at me and ask me what I am doing because I look much healthier lately. I even seem to have a more restful sleep.
I have not done anything else to change my lifestyle except to add these. I can no longer see my life without them.
And all these benefits without exercise in just two months. WOW! I look forward to further enhanced benefits when I start training again.
I cannot thank you enough for these wonderful health products. Because of them, I have returned to living rather than missing my life.
I want people to know that I believed in myself enough to make the investment and to take the first steps to try these products. It turns out I did something truly incredible!
Sincerely, James P. Etobicoke, ON”

I got this email from our customer James in Ontario. It was not solicited nor will he be compensated in any way for his comments.

Matcha is a green tea powder that is extremely rich in nutrients connected with immune support, weight loss, increased energy, heart health and the balancing of our PH levels. Most of us are slightly more acidic than is healthy. Inflammation and auto-immune diseases like cancer, thrive in an acidic body and go away when you reduce body acidity. The Omega Complete oil mentioned above is a rich source of essential fats which also has an anti-inflammatory effect, thereby reducing pain. GreenMatcha

How To Use Essential Oils

All essential oils need to be diluted in a carrier oil, as they can be too strong or even cause irritations and sensitization if used in pure form. Some essential oils can be edible with proper precautions and dilution. Some like Peppermint, Tea Tree Oil or Lavender can be mixed with toothpaste, or added to water and used as a mouth wash. Peppermint and Lavender can also be added to hot water and consumed as tea. (start with 1 drop for 1 cup water)

Carrier oils are extracted from Sweet Almond, Jojoba, Avocado, Castor, grape seeds etc. in a cold press and processed very little so that they can be used on skin without being sticky while maintaining their nutritional value. You can also use a natural cream, vegetable butter like cocoa, shea nut, etc.

How much Essential to use.

Total number of drops of essential oil for 30 ml (2 tablespoons) carrier oil, cream, or other natural cold pressed lipid is 12 drops. This gives you a 2% solution, which is considered safe for most adults. Cut this in half for children and those with sensitive skin.
